Abstract
Objective: The purpose of this study is an effect of Quality of life an affected side upper extremity performance ability.

Methods: This study was carried out from March 2011 to April 2011 with 30 patients who were diagnosed as stroke. The upper extremity on affedcted side of Amount scale & How well scale was assessed using MAL, Quality of life assessed using ss-QOL. MAL & ss-QOL was applied for evaluation that statistical analysis was using pearson interrelation analysis.

Results: Between ss-QOL and MAL was r=.364 with high interrelation but QOM was r=.208 with low interrelation. ss-QOL was included that vitality, role of family, language, mobility, emotion, character, social role, thought, upper extremity function, eyesight vision, work/productivity. Between upper extremity on amount scale and ss-QOL criterion was related, upper extremity on how well scale criterion was related slightly. But between upper extremity function of ss-QOL and AOU of MAL was highly related on r=.581(AOU), r=.487(QOM).

Conclusion: Between affected side performance ability and quality of life was highly related, therefore this study research an effect of qulity of life on affected side upper extremity performance ability. From now on we should come up with MAL that qulity of life evaluation and treatment intervention for program to provied patients after a cerebrovascular accident.
